You're looking for a specific designer bag and can't find it: there's a better way to do it.
You know exactly what you want. The model, the color, the size. You've searched for it on Vinted, Vestiaire, Wallapop. Either it's not available, or the condition isn't what you're looking for, or the price makes no sense. There's a more efficient way: tell us what you're looking for, and we'll locate it for you in the European market, verified and at no cost until you decide.
You're looking for a specific designer bag and can't find it: there's a better way
You know exactly what you want. The model, the color, the size. You've searched on Vinted, Vestiaire, Wallapop, eBay. Either it's not there, or the one that is isn't in good condition, or the price makes no sense. This guide explains why this happens and how to solve it.
The second-hand luxury handbag market is huge—but it's highly fragmented. The pieces a specific person is looking for are not always visible on the usual platforms at the time they are being sought. Many are sold in private circles, in specialized European stores, or through intermediaries who know the market in depth. Searching alone, on the same old sites, is the slowest and most inefficient way to find a specific piece.
There's an alternative: a specialized sourcing service. You describe exactly what you're looking for, and someone who knows the market finds it for you.
Why it's so hard to find a specific second-hand bag
Unlike generic clothing or accessories, vintage luxury handbags are unique or almost unique pieces. A Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in excellent condition with an even patina is not the same as another Speedy 30 with very darkened handles. The availability of the exact model you're looking for—in the right color, the right size, and the right condition—might be one or two units in the entire European market at any given time.
Generalist platforms like Vinted or Wallapop aggregate private sellers' offerings but have significant limitations: authenticity is not guaranteed, the condition description depends on the seller, and the most sought-after models sell out in hours or appear at prices far above market value. Vestiaire Collective has more quality control but charges commissions between 12% and 25%, which significantly increases the final price.

How LUMË Vintage's sourcing service works
What brands and models can be sourced
The sourcing service covers any luxury brand. These are the most common, but the list is not exhaustive—if you're looking for something not listed here, tell us anyway.
There is no minimum budget. From a Fendi Zucca Pochette for €300 to a Hermès Birkin: the service works the same for all price ranges.
